December Challenge

I have 2 hostess clubs coming to an end. I thought it would be fun to showcase some of their talents to bring it to an end. Therefore, in their December order, I included the following materials.

They can use them in any way that they want to. The winner will recieve a prize from me. So, as soon as they get them in, I will post them.

Ribbon Club

I have 4 openings for those of you who would like to get the following ribbon embellishments:
  • 12 yards of the 8 new Taffeta Ribbons - 1 and 1/2 yards of each (Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray, Mellow Moss, Bashful Blue, and Pretty In Pink),

  • 20 yards of the new 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbons- 2 and 1/2 yards of each (Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Bravo Burgandy, Real Red, Regal Rose, Brocade Blue, Certainly Celery, and Old Olive)

  • 15 yards of the Double Stitched Ribbons 2 and 1/2 yards of each (Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi, River Rock, Groovy Guava, and Purely Pomegranate)

All of the above ribbon is included (that is 47 yards of ribbon) in a one time price of $44.00 (that is .97 cents per yard). The price does include taxes and shipping.

This is an awesome way to get all of the new ribbons without having to buy huge spools of just one color. If you bought all 22 ribbons individually, you would spend $206.64 with shipping and taxes. That is an awesome savings!

Adoption Fundraising Button

Friends,

For those of you who do not know, Jason and I are meeting a birthmother this week who is due within the next month. We know that adoption is part of our family, and God has brought to us a mother who desperately needs us to take the baby. It is amazing to see Him work.

So, we are working out the plan of fundraising for this adoption. One thing we are doing is the Adoption Donation button on the left of my blog. If you would like to help us bring Baby Nabors home, just click on the button and it will take you to a Pay Pal account where you can donate. We have to raise $6,000 in a month. We have $650 due next week for our home study. So, every dollar is very much appreciated!

If you would like to have a button on your blog to help us out, please let me know. I will send you the directions and the code. It would be great to have this button circulated to as many people as we can.

Thank you!

Today's Inspiration

These are some of the cards that I mailed out last week. I love the blue, red, black, and white combination. The blue that I used on these is a retired color, but I love using it. I know there are other blues that would look just as good. Just click on the cards to see the recipe!

Pick a Petals that make you smile!

Good Morning!

I pray each of you has had a wonderful weekend so far! I know I have been blessed. We got up on Saturday, loaded up our grill, and J. cooked about 125 dogs for our church's community gathering. Then, we went to some dear friend's of ours to pick up a donated refrigerator to take up to my sweet little grandparents. Meme is 85 and Grandaddy is 93. They are so funny. It is quite hard for them to say thank you and enjoy a blessing. So, it is always fun to wow them with a gift like that. Finally, on our way home from Paris, J and I stopped by my baby brother's house to wish him a Happy Birthday! I love that guy! It always makes me so happy to be in his presence! Anyway, today is Sunday. J and I are zonked, but we are so excited that we have had a full weekend. I am hoping to get some more stampin done this weekend, and I have several other projects that need my attention before the next week start.

I hope you like this card that I am adding. It is quite simple, and I love it.

Recipe:
Stamps: Pick A Petal, Wonderful Words II (retired)
Ink: Whisper White
Paper: Kraft
Accessories: silver mini brads, 1/16" circle punch, medium twill tape, pink gingham ribbon, tag corner punch

Couldn't Wait!

This card is one that I created the other day in my moments of divine inspiration. *Notice the use of the large twill tape.* I was dreaming of sandy beaches and suntanned skin while the rain trickled down the window. LOL!!
Recipe:
Stamps: Pick A Petal
Card stock: Tempting Turquoise, Pink Passion, Only Orange, Whisper White, Sahara Sand
Ink: Only Orange, Pink Passion
Accessories: Large Twill Tape, Silver Brads, turquoise grosgrain ribbon, double rectangle punch, corner punch, stampin dimensionals

My Treasure

I was inspired by my upline, Angie, to take a look at things I have been holding on to. About two years ago, when I signed up my first downline, Angie sent me this amazing collection of ribbons. I have held on to them without coming close to unwraping them. I read on Angie's blog the other day how she is using some things that she has been holding on to. Well, in my next few cards, you will see that I, too am using instead of holding on. I am so bad about storing stuff up and not wanting to use it.

Thanks again, Angie! As you can see, your gift meant the world to me, and it has unlocked some creativity at a much needed time!

Inspired!

I have been so inspired to stamp this week. I have made a ton of cards!
I can't wait to share all of them with you! Let me know what you think!

Here is today's card:

Recipe:
Stamps: Big Pieces, Wonderful Words
Paper: Glossy card stock, Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Purely Pomegranate
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty In Pink, Purely Pomegranate, Versamark
Accessories: Brayer, Pretty In Pink Eyelets, Pretty In Pink Grosgrain Ribbon, small tag punch, large tag punch, horizontal slot punch, corner rounder, adhesive

My Stamp Room

I can not even begin to express how blessed I feel to have the house that I have. We were totally amazed at God's handiwork of putting us in this house. One of the bonuses is that I have my very own room for stamping, creating, and playing. I absolutely love it. I have big plans of painting and putting some built in shelves in there eventually....but for now...it is my own little slice of heaven.

Friday Night Class

Tonight is my all occasion card class! I love having classes because it gives us a chance to sit down, take a design and make it our own. Below are the samples that we are starting with. In this class, they can change the sentiment on the card to make cards that they need for different occasions. Always such a GREAT time together!
